Owner of Strive Rehabilitation Services
10 years of experience
Growing up I loved to play a variety of sports such as swimming, soccer, skiing, ice skating, track, and golf. As a result, I developed a serious passion for understanding how the human body works. I decided to turn my passion into my profession. I earned my bachelor's degree from Simmons College, where I majored in Health Studies and earned a double minor in biology and business. I furthered my education at Simmons College and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While I have experience in a variety of health care settings, I enjoy being with patients where they are most comfortable, in the outpatient care environment.
My treatment approach is one to one individulized care. I utilize manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, craniosacral fascial therapy, visceral mobilization, and muscle energy techniques to address to body's imbalances before restoring normal function and strength. I have experience working with children and adults with a wide varetity of diagnoses including infants with tongue/lip ties and feeding difficulties, as well as individuals post-surgery, post-radiation, orthoepdic injuries, chronic pain, and more.
Outside of my job I enjoy skiing and ice skating with my family. I like to run and I love snuggling in on my couch to read a good book. My hardest, yet most gratifying job, is being a mother to my daughter.
I look forward to learning about your passions and goals. Together we will work hard to heal you and strive for your dreams.
